I have my own makeup?

One really cool thing I have had the experience of doing these past few months is making my own makeup! *insert shocked face emoji here*

Seriously, found this website called Beautonomy that allows creators to customize eye and face palettes and open up their own online stores! I have made multiple palettes, as it has been a dream of mine to make my own palette for a while and I got to do that! Below are more information on how to get my palettes!

This is the official Rehab Beauty Website .  This website holds all photos of my palettes as well as allows you to order a custom designed one. All information about every shade in every palette is displayed as well as the shade names that I have chosen specifically for each palette to fit the themes.

I love to break beauty boundaries by playing with color on a constant basis. I try my best to include at least one bright color to really make a look pop and different from the regular nude smokey eye everyone does!

I am really proud of every palette I have made this far and thank you all for your support!

Back from Hiatus

I’m Back from Hiatus. Here’s what happened.

Hi guys!

Long time, no posts from me and here is a brief overview of the last couple months where I’ve vanished and what my plans are moving forward. I promise it’ll be entertaining, maybe? I’m not sure, you decide!

I have taken an accidental hiatus the last couple months from posting on here and Instagram, I have taken time to study YouTube and what other creatos are doing, not just material wise but their set ups and everthing they do behind the scenes.

I have taken an interest in interior designing and have redone my makeup organization as well as organizing my closet and shelves to give my room a ‘more mature’ vibe and maybe to finally live out my dream of being Tumblr aesthetic. I have gotten an acrylic organizer for my nail polishes, because I paint my nails now and I’ve really been taking time for myself to figure out what I want to do next.

2019 so far has been a year of self discovery, in the sense of figuring out who I am as a person, what my goals are, and working to achieve what I want to. I have learned to love myself for who I am which is something that has taken a number of years to do, and I have proudly achieved my definition of body goals by working out, eating healthy, going on walks and really just changing my lifestyle around.

Sure, I still eat ice cream and sweets but not as much as I used to. I eat more salads and I try to cut out junk food from being an every day meal to maybe a once or twice a week, and maintaining my exercising to burn off any excess calories I intake. Wow, that sounds super lifestyle blogger of me.

My plans moving forward is to continue to grow into the person I want to be, I want to take some great Instagram photos this year for my Instagram profile, and continue to make memories that will carry with me for the rest of my life. I want to grow on my craft and to expand my YouTube channel into more than just beauty and fashion but rather more categories to broaden my main audience as well as get new viewers from more demographics in the world.

I have huge plans for what’s next in my life and I thank you, my viewers, subscribers, followers for reading my posts and I look forward to making a ton more!

Youtube and Instagram profiles are spbeauty323 if you want to join me on these journies also.

Back to blogging

Hi guys!

I’ve taken a leap of absence on this blog to focus on my many aspects of my life. I’ve been working hard on staying up to date on my YouTube channel, my Instagram, and everything in between as well as improving my personal life, too.

In the time I’ve been gone, I’ve started designing my very own brand; Rehab Cosmetics. I’ve been having a blast designing one of a kind eyeshadows and face palettes and making them via Beautonomy- an amazing website who allows dreamers to make their dreams reality through their website and factories.

I’ve also been selling avidly on Poshmark who has actually sponsored a video of mine for YouTube which is my first ever paid promo ever. I re-filmed the video at least 20 times and it still didn’t come out perfect… but is perfect even real?

Anywho, I’ve been very busy working on all sorts of projects and I couldn’t be happier at the moment working and transforming myself into a better person.

I feel like 2019 is the year I transform myself into a better version and I can’t wait to see what the rest of the year has in store for me.

Making Makeup!

Hey guys!

Earlier today I released a video on my YouTube channel titled “my life is changing” and in that video I talked about how I have been working on my own makeup line- Rehab Cosmetics!

I have been working for a really long time on this brand, and I’ve gone through many platforms to find the best place to launch my brand in the most inexpensive way. Beautonomy was the best option!

Beautonomy is a website where you can custom design your palettes, they have many shades and products to choose from and they give you full reign to design your dream palette. The best part is that they’re cruelty free- which is something very important to me.

I launched a total of 10 eyeshadow palettes and 1 blush/bronzer palette. I even had the honor of designing a custom palette for a customer!

I hope that everyone enjoys my creations just as much as I have enjoyed making them, and be sure to be on the lookout for new holiday themed items!

This is my official website for Rehab Cosmetics: Rehab Cosmetics

To shop my creations: Rehab Cosmetics

To be featured on my website, post photos using your looks using the hashtag #RehabCosmetics !

Thank you so much for all your support!

The saddest part of adulting

Hi you guys!

Long time no posting.

It’s the holiday season now which means it’s time for the Christmas/winter cups at Starbucks!

This morning I got up at 6:45, and finally got to sleep around 3:30am because my allergies are working hard this time of year. I started the holiday shopping a bit early this year to make sure I grab the deals before Black Friday comes around and so far- I’ve aced it.

I grabbed some nail polish, some sponges, some palettes, some brushes. The best beauty gifts that you could possibly buy, and my bank account will be screaming at me later.

Since I haven’t posted in a bit, decided to talk about the saddest part of adulting this holiday season, as I confess that I’m more excited to buy wrapping paper than anything else! I don’t know what it is about wrapping paper but I somehow to always manage to buy at least three rolls of wrapping paper at least twice. It’s not like I buy that much gifts!

Below I’ve decided to give you guys some great places to shop this holiday season for the important people in your life, and places that are having great sales this year! (Non-sponsored!)

  1. Target – Target is my favorite place to go because they have everything you could possibly need- from wrapping paper, to clothes. I snagged some great value sets for my family and they’re so affordable. If you download the Cartwheel app, you can save even more than normal, and you can even snag some easy gift cards if you buy specific items!
  2. Poshmark– Yes, you might not have heard of Poshmark! Poshmark has easily become my #1 obsession! It’s an online marketplace where ordinary people and celebrities alike are selling unwanted clothes and accessories, and more often than not you can find brand new items! If you sign up using my code SPBEAUTY323 , you get a free $5 credit that you can use to buy your first purchase, and you also can score 99¢ priority shipping!
  3. Elf – My favorite website for this time of year! Elf is already so affordable that it’s ridiculous but on Black Friday/cyber Monday you can score some items for as low as 30¢! You can score free shipping on orders $25+ and a free gift as well! It’s impossible to not shop there this time of year.
  4. Profusion Cosmetics – Okay, you may not know much about this brand, but you can find them at target! They have great value palettes that are affordable and great quality! You can get free shopping with orders $25 or more.

@ The Sugar Factory

I had the amazing experience in Las Vegas to go to the Miracle Mile Shops and was able to go to the Sugar Factory!

I had seen the shakes and deserts on YouTube and Instagram, and sadly enough the gigantic shakes weren’t sold in this location, however I still had a good, big shake as shown above. I felt a huge sugar rush after this shake. It was all chocolate with some caramel in it, and it was definitely sugar filled. I really enjoyed it and I hope to try the crazy shakes someday!

Ways to Help With Anxiety

Hi everyone,

I haven’t talked much about my anxiety on this blog before because originally I had intended this blog to be more about fashion and beauty, but I want it to be a safe environment where we can all talk about ourselves openly and share ideas with one another as well.

With a lot of thinking, I feel finally ready to open up about my journey with anxiety, and tell you guys of some ways to help cope with it.

I started having severe anxiety when I was a young child, about 8-9 years old, first it started as stage fright, and then as I got older the more severe it got and the more secrete I was about it. The first two weeks of freshman year in high school, I forced myself to throw up because I felt like that’s what truly helped me, boy was I wrong.

I have found some activities and little things that helps with anxiety, and as always not everyone is the same, and everyone’s anxiety and fears are different from one another, but I love reading what other people do and I like to try out new things and see if those things also help me too. So I hope this helps someone out there.

One thing I like to do is makeup- obviously. When I first started makeup I found it super calming, just something about the brushes just felt super relaxing to me, and being able to use colors that may be funky or different just really express myself in a way that is artistic and calming. Whenever I got nervous and anxious, regardless if it was 7 am or 8 at night, I would play with makeup and just feel better.

Another thing I like to do is adult coloring, this may sound weird but I have some coloring books and I just color, it takes your brain somewhere else and all you do is focus on a small part of a design and you instantly forget your problems, and that’s one of my favorite things to do when I get anxious.

Another thing that works for me is writing, whether it be me working on a novel, a blog post, or a fan fiction, whenever I write I get absorbed in a world I created and I just zone out of reality for an hour while I get lost in writing.

Those three concepts are definitely what works for me the most, but of course everyone’s different so my concepts may not work for everyone, but some other tricks that you can do of course is to follow your passion- whether it’s writing, acting, singing, dancing, politics, etc. when you work on your passion you kinda forget your problems. 🙂

Some other tricks you can do includes:

Going for walks

Walking around the house

Playing with pets

Hanging with friends

Talking it out

Watching lava lamps

Playing with dual sided sequins (these are my favorite things right now)

And so many more!

I hope this blog post helps you guys out, and if you have suggestions for future posts please let me know!

Doctoring Up- Update 6/31/18

Hi everyone!

I haven’t updated in so long! I’ve been busy with all sorts of projects and just the daily grind. While I’ve been taking a break from the blog, I’ve been taking the time to learn more and reflect on what I want to put on this blog, and I want to branch it out into more than just makeup and fashion, but lifestyle and also use it as almost an online journal- like talk about fun trips and some fun things I’m working on.

This doesn’t mean I’ll stop with fashion and beauty but just add on to more. I’ll talk about decorating my bedroom/office/beauty room, organization, lifestyle, hacks and overall life itself.

Also, while I’ve been gone I have noticed that I now have ads on here! I think that is so cool and I really appreciate you guys so much for reading the blog posts and supporting me with everything. You guys are the reason why I have advertisements on my blog, and you have motivated me to come back and write even more and stronger than ever.

I will be doing my best to post weekly, along with posting weekly videos on my YouTube channel, which you all should check out because it is pretty rad, if I do say so myself. (spbeauty323).

Thank you for all your support, and I’m excited to come back and show you all exciting things!

Tips and Tricks: Partnership

I have been MIA from this blog, not only because I am busy with school but also with my slowly growing YouTube channel, (spbeauty323 on YouTube) and also and working on my new original pop-culture inspired apparel business. I have been really wanting to write on this blog, but not sure what to write about. After thinking, I finally got an idea.

I don’t remember if I have talked about this on my blog, but I did discuss it on my YouTube channel several times. A few months ago, or in July, we were in the Emergency Room because my younger sister broke her leg. I checked my business email to see an email that I thought would never happen! I got an email offering me a personalized discount code, to provide to my readers, subscribers and followers on all my social media accounts. I was ecstatic, and now I am a partner of 5 amazing companies that all have something unique to them.

Now if you are reading this page, something caught your eye, and it might be wondering how I got partnered, and personally I have no idea how I did it because I have less than 100 followers on Instagram and on YouTube, yet companies find me. Here are some things I did, that you can do to get partnered with small companies just like I did.

  1. Make a Business email- This one doesn’t sound like anything out of the ordinary, but if you are starting a serious career, such as an artist, company, blog, etc. It is suggested you make a business email, which I did, originally I used the business email for my blog, but now that I have a growing YouTube channel, I created a new business for spbeauty323. However, make a business email using your name and/or your stage name, and it is crucial that you include ‘business’ or ‘biz’ in the email address. Another helpful tip is to make it a short address, and easy to remember.
  2. Promote your Craft- Even though I have barely 50 followers on Instagram, I do attract a lot of traffic- most of the time. If you are an aspiring makeup/fashion influencer, make sure to post a lot of photos and videos showing your makeup skills on yourself and other people, showcase your talent, and don’t forget to use hashtags that are relevant. Hashtags are your friend in making your name.
  3. Get in Contact- It doesn’t hurt to contact small businesses that are starting out, just ask them about possibly becoming a partner for them, and if they are starting out, chances are they’ll say yes, because it’s as good for them  as it is for you. I definitely kept in contact with some amazing people at amazing companies, just be polite and tell them about yourself and what your goal is.
  4. Showcase Your Favorite Products- Showcasing your favorite products help, it also gets the attention of those companies, because they see more people liking their products. The more attention you get, especially if they repost your photos/videos.
  5. Create Content- This one is pretty obvious, but you’ve seen creators posting photos of their makeup products on top of all white furniture right? Even if you aren’t a beauty guru and are interested in being an influencer in a different path, this is still helpful, because it lets you be creative even if you are just showing products in a certain lay out, you can blast your favorite music to get some inspiration, and stage your own photoshoot, just make sure you don’t get shadows in your pictures, because that has happened to me.

There you guys go, I hope this post helps! I really want to give a shoutout to my 5 partners! Mikasa Beauty, Waiiola, For Earth For All, Jolie Beauty, Sand Cloud Towels!

Children’s Highlighting Powder from Justice containing toxic metals? WTF!

Hi everyone,

Welcome back to my blog, I just decided to write my thoughts about a topic in the news right now, girls clothing store Justice, is currently under fire because of their highlighting powder formula containing asbestos! For those of you who don’t know, asbestos is mostly found in soils and rocks, but they can cause lung diseases as well as tumors and and other types of cancers.

I’ve read somewhere that this formula also contained toxic metals. I don’t know how true those articles are, but right now Justice is yanking all of the makeup items off of their shelves to properly be tested and cleared of any harmful ingredients!

I feel like I should post this because if there’s any aspiring beauty gurus who wanted to film a ‘full face of kids’ makeup video, just steer away from Justice, you can try Toys R Us, Amazon or Claire’s. I personally am super shocked to hear this news because when I was young, I used to shop at Justice. But, at the time they didn’t sell makeup, they sold clothes and maybe lotion.

What do you all think of this shocking headline? Tell me in the comments!
